How to stop worrying about money

I recently heard on a popular podcast that the number one thing people worry about is money.

That’s pretty odd, when you think about it.

Money is weird because money is just a tool. And yet, we still glorify, despise, ignore, obsess over, covet, shun, love, and hate money, sometimes all within the same day.

We don’t wake up at night worrying about the hammer in our garage – how it can be used for evil, how it can be used to build great things, how it’s been under-used, how someone else is using their hammer better than I am using mine…it’s just ridiculous.

Yet, this is how we treat money.

If you want to stop worrying about money, start putting it in its place.

When we are low on money we run around fretting and worrying, cowering, shrinking, and hiding in embarrassment.

And when we have it, we flaunt it, make rash decisions, brag, and try to get attention.

But those who are calm about money, who see it for what it is – a tool and nothing more or less than that – those are the ones who master money, who acquire giant heaping gobs of it, who put it to good use, and who don’t let it push them around.

If you want to invest a small amount of your money into something that can help you save a whole lot more of it, control it better, whip it into shape, and do your bidding (instead of letting the government or someone else do it for you), you can access my low-cost California living trust here:
